A new home for us and a new facility for Higham Ferrers
Snowdon Homes are delighted to announce we will be moving home – and hope the community will join us there.
Our new offices will be in the old library building on Midland Road in Higham Ferrers where there is more room to house our expanding workforce and growing business.
But, aside from providing ourselves with more space, we also hope the people of Higham Ferrers will be able to use it too.
There was a lot of disappointment within the town when the library was forced to close at the end of last year.
So we are offering to provide the old Sure Start facility, which was housed within the building, so it is available for the community’s use.
It will be free to use with Snowdon Homes picking up the cost of insurance and maintenance.
Snowdon director Mike Lee said: “We are conscious the loss of the library facility did cause much concern locally and, although we had no involvement in the decision to close the library, as a local company we would like to ensure that some form of library provision and/or local community facility is retained within the building.”
There will be a period of renovation before the building is ready but anyone who would like to use the new community facility should contact Jim Lyon on firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to register their interest.
